Over 500 years ago, the famous painter, artist, and inventor Leonardo Da Vinci created some of the most incredible studies of the human anatomy ever done. Now, etched with fire into a leather canvas, those magnificent drawings are recreated with pinpoint accuracy.
Our Masters collection seeks to find the writings, drawings, and notations from history's greatest thinkers. In line with that tradition, our three post binders are made from the highest quality materials available. We use oil-tanned, full-grain, 5 oz cowhide to ensure that the leather will last for decades. Our stainless steel posts are built to spin smoothly, allowing the standard letter sized, three-hole punched paper to easily be removed.
The early origins of the modern bound book can be traced back to the fifth century. These early books employed wooden boards, covered in leather, with cloth or sinew thread to hold the pages together. Out of this ancient tradition comes the modern three post leather journal. We believe that the best books are the ones that last. The post binding technique is a derivative of the Japanese Stab Binding method. This allows for the contents of the book to be less prone to ripping or tearing that may occur in a standard three-ring binder.
As always, our first loyalty is to our clients. If you have any issues at all with your binder, please let us know and we will do our best to solve any problems. Bring your designs to life in the Master's Collection Da Vinci Anatomy Binder.
